Thengapattanam

Thengapattanam is a small town situated on the west coast of Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. Thengapattanam is surrounded by natural boundaries in all sides - the Arabian Sea, the Kuzhithurai River and a Mountain ridge. And then, there is the star attraction. The estuary, where the river joins the sea. What a lovely place.The place has derived its modern name as coconut trees are abundant here.
